Direk Cathy Garcia-Molina Backs Out ! WHY? READ THIS!


The award-winning director, Cathy Garcia-Molina is leaving the teleserye she has been directing, “La Luna Sangre” to concentrate on an upcoming Star Cinema film.


Garcia-Molina is well-known for her success in the television industry, directing many of ABS-CBN’s highly-rated television dramas such as “Lobo”, “Got to Believe”, “Forevermore”, “Dolce Amore” and “The Story of Us.”


“La Luna Sangre” is one of ABS-CBN’S most-awaited teleseryes of ABS-CBN. It has an all-star cast with Angel Locsin, John Lloyd Cruz (who has not appeared in a television drama for a while) and Richard Gutierez, and of course the sought-after love team, KathNiel or Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla. It has been creating a buzz long even before it began as it is the third installation of the Moonstone Trilogy, preceded by “Lobo” and “Imortal” which were also very much talked about.
It started airing last June 19 and it did not disappoint fans. The show has been receiving such a positive response from viewers. It was described it as one of the most thrilling pilot weeks of local television, rivaling only the long-running “Ang Probinsyano”. Its first few episodes featured what happened after “Lobo” as well as the childhood of Kathryn’s and Daniel’s characters.
According to ABS-CBN News, the director regrets having to pull out of “La Luna Sangre”, but she explains that it was her responsibility to stick to the and Richard Gutierez made by the management heads.
Garcia-Molina is about to start working on “Seven Sundays” starring Dingdong Dantes, Enrique Gil, Christine Reyes, and Aga Muhlach.
