It was just recently when Ian and his daughter Dids was interviewed in “Magandang Buhay”. The public was surprised that the one and only daughter of the Kapamilya actor comes out to be a lesbian when she was only 16 years old.
The veteran actor recalled the very moment when his daughter confessed to him her real self. According to him, he was doing something with his motorbikes when Dids came with a teary-eye. She told his dad that she was going to tell him something. She courageously told him that she likes girls. Her father hilariously replied that he likes girls as well. Dids was clueless back then why his father seems to be alright with what she had just told him. She was moved when Ian told her that she should never feel apologetic to anyone, not even to her own father for what she really feels as she can do whatever she wanted to do and he will give her his full support.
